About Foldle
Foldle is a daily puzzle you play in your browser. You get a strip of numbered cells and fold it at the creases. Cells that land on each other must match, and matching cells merge into their sum. Fold the strip down to a single cell to solve it.
A new strip every day
Everyone in the world gets the same strip on the same date. Monday's strip is the gentlest, and each day gets harder up to Sunday's 12-cell Big Fold. Par is the fewest folds that solve a strip. Every strip is built so that it has a solution.
Ranks, streaks and leagues
The daily board ranks solvers by fewest tries, then fewest folds, then the fastest solve. Leagues let a group of friends compare weekly points: 5 for solving, 3 more for solving on the first try, and 2 more for matching par.
Fair play
Your browser never reports a score. It sends the folds you made, and the server replays them on the same strip to work out your result. Solves under 10 seconds still count for you but stay off the public board.
Answers
Each strip's solution is posted once that strip has ended in every time zone, so the answers never spoil today's puzzle. See past answers.
